I’m Seana, tarot reader, mystic & water witch.
I’m an island girl at heart. I first visited the Caribbean as a young child and felt right at home. It felt good to my body to be in a small place surrounded by the vastness of water. Decades later I would learn that half my ancestry runs through Barbados, the easternmost Caribbean island where the sea and the ocean meet. I moved to Barbados in September 2024 after receiving a very strong spiritual call to (re)connect with this part of myself.
I got my first Tarot deck in 2017 and have been pulling cards daily for years. My relationship to Tarot has become deep, playful, trusting and reliable. My deck goes where I go, befriending me through every change.
I’ve engaged in formal study too; my teachers are Lindsay Mack, Britten LaRue, Simone Arthur and the work of divinatory ancestor Rachel Pollack. I’m also a practicing psychotherapist, so my readings are always trauma sensitive.
Tiny Island Tarot is inspired by the reverence I have for my story, my ancestral connection to the island of Barbados, and the overwhelming awe I feel for how I arrived to this place. It is also dedicated to the younger parts of myself who have found reconnection and repair through a mystical perspective.
Tarot creates a momentary tiny island of our lives , centering the magic of the present moment, the possibility of change at any time, and the spirit that surrounds us.
Tiny Island Tarot readings hold:
We each have guidance available to support us in hearing and responding to the call of our lives. Where ever your guidance comes from (God, ancestors, spirit helpers, higher self, nature etc.) is exactly right.
Tarot is a system of images and symbols that help us hear our guidance more clearly.
When we approach Tarot with playful reverence, it responds in kind.
Tarot creates a momentary tiny island of our lives , centering the magic of the present moment, the possibility of change at any time, and the spirit that surrounds us.
Tiny Island Tarot readings are trauma sensitive, inclusive & rooted in compassion. I affirm your personal agency, healing & liberation.
Reverence
To the many teachers, healers, and collaborators who have supported me and whose work informs my own. To all four of my lineages and the lines that have always connected us. My family. To my expanding web of chosen kin who hold me to my path and are always in my heart. To Once On This Island and every work that has pointed the way home. To salamander and my Pisces moon. To Day. To Barbados, and the ancestors who claim me with such force I can’t help but trust my belonging.
